CALGARY (CBC) - Canadian cities continue to place favourably in a global cost-of-living survey thanks to low inflation rates and a stable housing market, Mercer Human Resource Consulting said Monday in its annual study.
The company, which measures the costs of placing workers in foreign cities, made Toronto the 82nd most expensive city on its list, down from 47th in 2006. Calgary ranked 92nd, Vancouver 89th and Ottawa was 109th (read more)
